About Albam Clothing
Albam was established in 2006 through a frustration with not being able to find the clothes we wanted to wear; well made, contemporary updates to classic menswear styles, using the best fabrics it could source and putting the attention on the details, fit and fabrics. The products range include T-shirts, coats, jackets, footwear, jeans, shirts, shorts, overshirts, knitwear, sweatshirts and trousers. Albam’s Naturally waterproof outerwear made using fabric provided by the world famous Halley Stevensons, to lighter-weight overshirt styles by the masters at British Millerain – designed to be worn together or on their own. The first style it made was its Classic T-Shirt which took twelve months to develop as it worked with a local knitter in Loughborough, a factory in Derbyshire and a dye house in Leicester to get what it felt was the perfect white t-shirt. That humble t-shirt, its Classic T-Shirt, is now crafted in Portugal but is still on offer and remains one of Albam’s best selling styles to this day, but more importantly, the journey of learning from these experts set us on a path to only work with the best factories and to combine their passion and expertise into every garment it creates.
