About Cook My Grub
Cook My Grub is an online shop which provides you with Cooked Food. For the busy, food loving mainstream, Food, traditionally a source of joy, has become a stressor. Something it enjoys, has become something it has to do. So, it retreat to a narrow set of familiar options. It sticks to its go to recipes and its favourite takeaways. However, Food is bigger than what you eat – its a passion, a pastime, and a part of its identity. So, it all wants to taste, explore, and try different cuisines but the truth is the best food is off limits to most of us. Authentic cuisine is not found on the high street, its found in the kitchens of passionate home chefs. As the leading marketplace to offer authentic, home-made cuisines that cannot be found on the high street, Cook My Grub’s ambition is to build healthier, happier, and wealthier communities across the UK. The concept was conceived in December 2019 by entrepreneurs, Shabbir Mookhtiar and Dinesh Patil, after spotting a gap in the market for home-cooked food that could easily be delivered to people’s homes through a simple mobile app. Cook My Grub conducts its own internal hygiene audits and trains all chefs, while supporting them with required local council registrations.
