About Welch The Florist
Welch The Florist remains one of the UK’s oldest family run florists with over 100 years of artistry passed down through 5 generations. With over 100 years of service in Nottinghamshire and still going strong, this brand is here to stay. From humble beginnings as a family grocery store run by Fred and Dora Welch in the 1920s to the national flower delivery service it is today – it has built a business customers can rely on – delivering beautiful bouquets and floral displays with a smile. Since 1973, Welch The Florist has focused its business solely on arranging and selling flowers, when Tony Shaw became a director in the business, his passion for flowers and horticulture gave the business a unique offering, combining his skills and knowledge to create beautifully designed bouquets. Now, Tony’s son Gareth is leading the business to success, merging six former florists into Welch and becoming the leading delivery service for flowers in the Nottinghamshire region for Welch and Interflora. Welch The Florist’s ethos has and always will be putting our customers at the forefront of what it does. Its Promise ensures you get the best quality and freshest flowers directly from Holland.
